Rev. George E. Walker

Special Ministries

George grew up in Alton, Illinois and accepted Christ in 1941.  He graduated from Shurtleff College and took additional courses at Indiana University, Roosevelt University, Northwestern, and University of Wisconsin.

Over the past 50 years, George has served many Baptist Churches in the Chicago area and Southern Wisconsin. He served as president of the Chicago Baptist Association, President of the South Chicago Neighborhood House and president of the Board of the Maywood Baptist Retirement Home.

Prior to moving to the Valley, he served on staff of High Point Church, Madison Wisconsin. As a Management Consultant, George held Workshops and Seminars in Management Development, Leadership and motivation, throughout the Midwest. He and his wife Bonnie have 5 children, thirteen grandchildren and one great grand child. They make their home in Sun Lakes.
