As a local New Testament congregation our desire is to honor God in all we do and bring praise to His name (Psalm 113:3).  The word “church” is from a root word meaning “to call.”  So, a true church is a called out body of believers founded upon the perfect Word of God and living under the Lordship of Jesus Christ.

The church is not a human organization but rather a people God has sovereignly called into existence.  As writer, Steven Lawson, has put it, “A high view of God leads us to see that the church is not a corporation, but a congregation; not a business, but a body; not a factory, but a family.”
