OUR CORE BELIEFS

A HIGH VIEW OF GOD
(1 Timothy 1:17; Exodus 15:11)
A reverent and scriptural view of God causes us to:

  • Worship Him in spirit and truth

  • Serve Him faithfully

  • Obey Him in fear and love

THE ABSOLUTE AUTHORITY AND SUFFICIENCY OF SCRIPTURE
(Psalm 19:7-14, 2 Timothy 3:16-17, Hebrews 4:12)
A belief in the inerrancy and authority of the Bible shapes our entire life and ministry around God’s word as the Holy Spirit communicates it to us through:

  • Personal study

  • Anointed preaching

  • Biblical teaching

  • Discipling relationships

SOUND DOCTRINE
AND A PURE GOSPEL

(Ephesians 2:1-10;
1 Corinthians 15:1-4)

The conviction that sound living flows from sound doctrine

grounds us in:

  • The gospel of repentance from sin and dead works

  • Faith toward God in Jesus Christ,  who is both Savior and Lord to all true believers

BIBLICAL AUTHORITY

AND LEADERSHIP
(Ephesians 5:22-6:9; Romans 13:1-2; Hebrews 13:17)
A commitment to obey the channels of God's delegated authority involves honoring spiritual and godly leaders in:

  • Marriage.

  • Family.

  • The Church.

  • Government.

MUTUAL ACCOUNTABILITY
(Ephesians 4:14-16; 1 Peter 4:10-11)
A lifestyle of living that is based on the commands of scripture enables us to live for one another in such a way that we:

  • Bring glory to Christ .

  • Fulfill our responsibilities to
    one another.

  • Enrich the life of the church.

HOLINESS
(1 Peter 1:13-16; Romans 12:1-2)
God’s call for believers to be separate from the world entails living a holy life becoming more and more like Christ giving testimony to the world of what a true Christian looks like in character and conduct.

THE PRIMACY OF PRAYER

(1 John 5:14-15; Matthew 7:7-11)
The source of spiritual power in the Christian life is found in spirit-driven prayer, private and corporate, as it involves believers in:

  • Worship.

  • Work.

  • Witness.

  • Warfare.

A COMMITMENT TO EXCELLENCE
(Colossians 3:17; Corinthians 10:31)
As living and holy sacrifices acceptable to God in Christ, believers are called to do all things to the glory of God and to give Him full commitment in:

  • Service.

  • Stewardship.

  • Study.

  • Steadfastness.

A LOVING FOCUS ON PEOPLE
(2 Corinthians 5:14-21;
Philippians 2:3-5)

God s people are to place the interests of others before that of their own in order to meet spiritual needs resulting in:

  • Salvation for the unconverted grows and matures.

  • Sanctification for believers.

  • Support for God’s church as it

REVIVAL/REFORMATION
(Jeremiah 31:33-34; Acts 4:31; 2 Corinthians 6:14-7:1)

  • The great need of the church is that God would awaken and empower it with the Holy Spirit whereby He:

  • Renews the believer.

  • Revives and reforms the church.

  • Restores relationships to Himself and between Christians.
