Steve Foss is a graduate of Winthrop University. He earned a Master of Church Music degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, Fort Worth, TX, with additional divinity studies at Phoenix Seminary in AZ. He has pastored churches in NM, AZ, and VA, and served as interim pastor in a number of churches.

He has published several books -Freedom's Foundation, 5 Understandable Words on Christmas, Discovering Psalm 119,  and  I'm a Country Gopher (a children's book).

He is married to Sandra, and they have 2 grown daughters and 2 grandchildren.
