Mutsumi Mori
Mutsumi is a talented singer, pianist, and organist, dedicated to enhancing our traditional service with her musical expertise. She skillfully leads the congregation and the choir, bringing a rich and inspiring atmosphere to our worship. Her passion for music is evident in every note, creating a meaningful experience for all.
Worship and Music Director
Mutsumi Mori, originally from Japan, discovered her passion for music as a foreign exchange student in the United States. After earning dual degrees in Choral Music Education and Piano Performance from Northern Arizona University, she furthered her studies with a Master’s in Vocal Coaching and Collaborative Piano at the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities. Mutsumi dedicates her talents to various choirs and instrumentalists, including those from the Phoenix Symphony. With a deep love for traditional hymns nurtured by her Methodist upbringing, is committed to preserving this music for future generations and is thrilled to share her passion with the FBC Sun family.

Mutsumi is married to Jack, and together they have three beautiful children.
