First Baptist Church Sun Lakes is a church of joy! We are committed to the perfect Word of God, living under the Lordship of Jesus Christ, and worshiping with psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs.

 

Our growing congregation draws from all over the East Valley with members from Sun Lakes, Sunbird,

Springfield, Chandler, Mesa, Gilbert, Casa Grande, and Maricopa.

WORSHIP
We seek to be God-centered in our worship services – magnifying the Lord through praise, music, and the study of the Scriptures. We take joy in singing psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs (Colossians 3:16).

PREACHING
We believe the Bible is God's perfect Word, timeless and timely; relevant to the needs of all people at all times as the Holy Spirit communicates it to us through biblical preaching and teaching. The gospel is at the heart of our message; growing in Christ-likeness is our goal.

BIBLE STUDY CLASSES
During the Bible Study classes on  Sunday mornings  you will hear scriptural truth to inform your thinking and build up your faith.
Our goal is that believers would develop the tools and disciplines to grow in their walk with God.
MISSIONS
Our church gives generously to North American and international missions. We also support local ministries such as Choices Pregnancy Center, Casa de Amor, Set Free Church, and a ministry to international students at ASU. Members of the church family have served on mission trips to Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Cuba, Ecuador, Greece, Guatemala, Paraguay, Puerto Rico, Russia, Spain, and Taiwan.
